Christopher Makos is an American photographer and visual artist, most known for his portraits of Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring.

Christopher Makos was friends with Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol in New York City in the 1980s frequently hanging out with them in the art and club scene downtown. Andy Warhol called Makos "the most modern photographer in America."

Makos’ photographs have been exhibited in galleries and museums such as the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, the Tate Modern in London, the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York, among many others.
