Keith Haring / Gufram / Luna Luna
2025
Founded in Hamburg in 1987, Luna Luna was the world’s first amusement park designed entirely by artists — a visionary playground including large-scale works by art icons such as Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Kenny Scharf, David Hockney, and more.
For the original park, Haring created a carousel adorned with his unmistakable figures. He transformed his unmistakable two-dimensional characters into magical, three-dimensional spinning sculptures. Each dances in rhythm, turning his graphic language into motion and form.
Following Luna Luna’s 2025 reopening in New York, two of these legendary carousel seats — the dog and the baby — have been re-created by pioneering Italian design company Gufram in life size. Crafted by hand in soft polyurethane and finished with Guflac® paint, they bring Haring’s marvelous creations from the carousel to the home.
The furniture collection was originally debuted at Salone del Mobile in Milan in April 2025.
